      Materials & Care of my swimsuit

      What are SOKO swimsuits made of?

      SOKO swimsuits are made with ECONYL fabrics from Carvico Vita.

      These fabrics are high quality and environmentally friendly. ECONYL is a fabric created by recycling nylon and plastic waste recovered from the oceans.

      The fabrics in this range also offer 50+ sun protection and are safe for the skin: STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® .

      How do I take care of my SOKO swimsuit?

      SOKO swimsuits, made from ECONYL, will last several years if the maintenance conditions are well respected.

      Here are our best tips:

      • Hand wash with mild soap in cold water only: do not machine wash!
      • Rinse and dry after use: do not leave it wet and rolled up.
      • Hang to dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry, dry clean, iron or bleach.
      • Avoid contact with rough surfaces as this may damage the fabric.
      • High amounts of chlorine can damage your bikini, make sure to wash it immediately after use after a pool party :)
      • Some tanning oils, sunscreens and fake tans can stain or damage your bikini area.

      Each SOKO swimsuit is designed with sustainability and environmental protection in mind. Here we share tips to ensure their best lifespan.

      Hand wash your swimsuit in cold water after each swim. Dry in the shade. Do not air dry in direct sunlight, this may cause color fading. Do not machine wash or dry.

      Make sure your SOKO is completely rinsed, dried and free of salt or chlorine before storing it. If not properly cleaned before storage, mold or fold lines may appear. Fold into a triangle, do not hang. Store in a dry, cool place.

      To ensure the lifespan of your SOKO, limit yourself to wearing it in chlorinated swimming pools, spas or saunas. Contact with textured surfaces such as pebble pools or rocks can snag the fabric and cause pilling, but above all these waters often contain chemicals that are very aggressive for colored Lycra fabrics.

      Our Swimsuit, in other words “one-piece swimsuits”, can also be worn as a bodysuit. Be careful with clothing worn over it, such as jeans or embellished clothing, as these may cause pilling or damage.

      Where can I find product care information?

      All our products are accompanied by a flyer on which we have specified good maintenance practices. Further information can be found in the care section of the product page.

      Does your swimsuit offer UV protection?

      All our pieces have built-in SPF50 protection.

      If I can't iron my swimsuit, how can I get rid of the wrinkles?

      If you accidentally creased your swimsuits while packing them in your suitcase, don't worry!

      To eliminate small wrinkles, hang your garment in the bathroom while you take a shower.

      The steam created is usually enough to smooth your swimsuit.

      We invite you to collect your used swimsuits in order to promote them during our future “After Surf” workshops. You will be invited to create a new product with old SOKO jerseys: upcycling, sewing... depending on the mood of the moment!

      How do your sizes work?

      All tops and bottoms conform to the size guides displayed on each product page.

      Since women's body types vary, it's best to use our guide as a great aid during your purchase.

      Reviews can also be very helpful in determining what would be best for you.

      How do SOKO swimsuits fit?

      We design our swimsuits to flatter all women.

      Our products are developed on women's bodies of all sizes: from XXS to XL.

      At SOKO, we develop our products over several months and use high-end recycled Italian fabrics so that each piece shapes your silhouette and gives you confidence.

      Regarding the Le Brisant model, we recommend one size smaller.

      The other sizes are similar to those of Rip Curl, Billabong or Roxy.

      I'm not sure of the size, if my swimsuit doesn't fit, can I return it?

      If the swimsuit(s) you purchased do not fit you or do not please you upon arrival, we offer a free exchange within 30 days provided you have respected the following instructions:

      • Have worn underwear during fitting
      • Not having stained or damaged the product
      • Contact us within 24 hours of receiving the product

      To obtain a free exchange, send us an email to contact@soko.re : specify your order number and clearly indicate the correct size or the product you would like in exchange (model, color, size). Note the words “exchange order xxx” in the subject line of the email. We will send the item(s) immediately and completely free of charge. This only applies to new customers.

      Can I modify my order?

      Until you receive a shipping confirmation email, we can usually change your order if you email us at contact@soko.re

      If you need to update or cancel your order, please contact our customer service as soon as possible.

      Once your order is packaged for shipping, no changes or cancellations can be made.

      If we are unable to cancel the order before shipping, you may refuse the order or mark the unopened package "Return to Sender" to have it returned to us for a full refund.

      Please note that it may take up to fourteen business days for the package to be received and processed from the return date. Once your return has been processed, you will be informed.

      Can I cancel my order?

      We process all orders within 24 hours Tuesday through Friday.

      Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays.

      How long will it take for me to receive my order?

      Orders shipped via standard shipping (including our free option) are typically delivered within 4 business days.

      Orders placed in mainland France or internationally are generally delivered within 8 to 15 working days.

      Please keep in mind that this is an estimated delivery time provided by our carriers.

      On rare occasions, your package may arrive outside the estimated time, especially if you are not available during delivery (signed for delivery).

      With which carriers do you transport your products?

      We use the services of LA POSTE.

      What should I do if I miss a delivery attempt?

      LA POSTE will leave a notice in your mailbox to request a new delivery or you will be contacted by email or telephone.

      You can go to your local post office or wait for a new home delivery.

      My package has been returned to you by the carrier.

      Contact us as soon as you notice the package is on its way to us so we can schedule your order to be reshipped assuming it is still in stock. Please note that you will be responsible for reshipping costs.

      Will I have to pay international duties and fees?

      Shipments to mainland France and internationally may be taxed, this is entirely out of our control and occurs on a case by case basis.

      The customer is responsible for all taxes and duties applied to an order. Please check your local customs website for more information.

      For mainland France, allow around 20% taxes on delivery: Reunion is considered a foreign country, although European.

      My order tracking shows that my order was delivered, but I never received it. What can I do?

      Unfortunately, once the packages are in the hands of the carrier, they are beyond our control. That being said, we know how frustrating this can be and we are here to help!

      Please contact us as soon as possible and we will help you in any way possible.

      Before contacting us, we ask that you please do the following.

      1. Ask the people who live in your home if they received the package. The package may also have been delivered to property managers or an apartment office.

      2. Ask around if another house received your order in error.

      3. Check your mailbox or community mailbox.

      How long will it take to process my return?

      We offer instant exchanges, refunds and store credits. When you make an instant exchange, your new order will ship within 24 hours. Store credit is processed once your return has been shipped. Full refunds are processed within 3 days of receiving your return.

      Can I return/exchange items purchased on sale or with a promo code?

      No, sale products cannot be returned or refunded.
      On the other hand, items purchased with a promotional code are returnable and exchangeable.

      What is your return policy ?
